Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty mellow, which I really needed. I spent the better part of Sunday with my family in New Jersey celebrating my grandfather’s birthday. To mark his 81st year, my mom and aunts prepared some of his favorite foods.

The puppy, who is recovering from a broken leg, was hanging around too. He’s such a cutie. 
Today I’m starting a new rotation–Pediatrics. I have basically zero experience with kids, so I have no idea whether I’ll love it or hate it, so cheers to no expectations!
